Basic Guard Course |

Course Aim |
|||
The aim of the course is to train nominated (and suitably fit/screened) personnel in the knowledge, skills, and work attitude necessary, to perform the duties of a security guard/officer in PNG. |

| The Basic Guard Course is of two weeks in duration. | |||
Training Syllabus |
|||
The basic training syllabus is an adequate platform to underpin personnel who are to be engaged in standard security guard/officer duties. Additional elements may be added to accommodate those employers who have specialised requirements within their particular workplaces. |

Test & Assessment |

Trainees are tested at the completion of each module for progressive comprehension, so that remedial coaching can be provided along the way if required. A comprehensive test is conducted at the conclusion of all modules, and a PASS or FAIL score awarded. |
