Urgent

Attendance at roadside vehicle breakdowns or accidents - this service includes (i) Standing by you and your vehicle to provide protective security, (ii) Practical help, such as arranging for fuel or changing a wheel, (iii) Making arrangements for the towing of your vehicle to a secure location pending repairs, and, (iv) Provision of alternate transport to get you and your passengers home if needed.

NB: Our mobile patrol units are not equipped to repair breakdown vehicles - their job is to protect you and your property, and to get you safely home.

Emergency

Guard Dog Control Centre responds to a variety of life threatening emergencies: (i) Armed holdup in domestic and commercial premises. (ii) Persons in hazard or under threat from armed or unarmed offenders, (iii) Carjacking or attempts of a similar nature. (iv) Other situations where clients believe that they are risk of grave or immanent danger.

Calling for Help

There are several ways in which you can call Guard Dog for Urgent or Emergency Assistance:

(1) Press your holdup alarm button if you are at home or at the business premises - our sister company Security Systems Ltd will install the appropriate equipment if you don't already have an alarm system fitted.

(2) Call direct to our 24 Hour Control Centre on a portable or mobile radio - again, we can arrange for a new multi-channel radio if you don't already own one. (You can use the same radio for business purposes as well).

(3) Call from a fixed or mobile telephone.

(4) Trigger the emergency signal on a GPS Vehicle Tracking unit - Security Systems can supply this technology for your vehicle/s.

Remember: If you call for urgent or emergency help by radio or mobile phone whilst traveling around town, our Control Centre operators will dispatch all available units immediately. But, if you are unsure of your exact location, valuable time can be lost in trying to pin down where to find you. The moral of the story is simple - always try to be aware of your circumstances and surroundings, as trouble tends to come unexpectedly.
